About CNPRU

The Clinical Neuroscience and Psychopharmacology Research Unit (CNPRU) is a clinical research group in the University of Chicago's Department of Psychiatry. Directed by Emil F. Coccaro, MD, the CNPRU lab offers clinical trials for persons experiencing anger and emotional problems. To learn more about our research, please click the research link above.

Study volunteers are always welcome. Many of our studies provide some monetary support for transportation to and from the CNPRU, as well as for overall study participation.

The CNPRU is located in the University of Chicago Hospital on the Hyde Park campus. We are easily accessible by car, bus, "L", and Metra. To learn more about how to get to the University of Chicago, please click here. We also offer a convenient Downtown location for some studies.
