PILOT STUDY OF FMRI AND SOCIO-EMOTIONAL INFORMATION PROCESSING.

Description

Dr. Emil Coccaro at The University of Chicago is conducting a research study. In this study, we are testing to see how your brain works while viewing social and emotional situations. Subjects are shown videos while a scanner takes images of your brain activity. This study involves a series of two (2) visits.

You will receive a confidential, no-cost, evaluation to see if you qualify to enter. You will be compensated for selected research procedures and may receive up to $180 over the time of the study in addition to reimbursement for parking or public transportation costs.

Eligibility

  • Have problems with anger, temper outbursts, being irritable, getting in trouble at work or at home because of impulsive/aggressive behavior.

  • Between the ages of 21 and 55.

  • Meet other eligibility requirements as outlined by the research protocol

    Duration

    2 visits.

    Compensation

    up to $180 over course of study.
